The Save SVM campaign was amazing - it raised a truly impressive amount, especially considering the difficult economic time, showing the depth of support SVM has in the community. We are so grateful - thank you to everyone who supported the fundraising campaign, in any way at all!
While the fundraising campaign made a significant difference, unfortunately it was not enough to fully overcome the challenges SVM currently faces.
We don’t want to squander the community’s support by just keeping on doing the same thing when it's just not working right now. It’s clear that in this current environment, we need to do something different!
We are planning to use this time to look at other options for SVM - frequency, rotating location.... and we'd love your input.

Running on the third Sunday of every month at The Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park, SVM is your ultimate destination for all things plant based, cruelty-free & vegan. From fresh food to home wares to coffee to fashion, whether you're selling, buying or browsing, we have you covered.
SVM is an inclusive space where creators of vegan food, products and services can connect to like-minded consumers, where the vegan community can find quality, ethically made vegan products and where those who are interested in veganism can see just how easy it can be.
Alongside up to 100 vegan stalls, we program a slew of entertainment and activities for our visitors to enjoy, from free yoga to the entertainment all day long. Local vegan musicians to the front!!
We are lucky enough to see over 8K+ visitors (& their dogs!) each month so come early, BYO containers, cups and picnic rugs, grab a spot under a tree and spend the day at SVM.
Composting at SVM
SVM has always been proudly single-use plastic free, however we continued to have waaaaaay too much waste going to landfill so we’ve taken the next step and have composting bins on-site
Look out for the compost bins!
All bio-plastic & cardboard packaging, plus any food scraps can go straight in!
Remember foil wrappings, cans, bottles and pamphlets can NOT go in there.
After the market, the waste will be taken to a commercial composting facility and turned into soil. How cool is that!

With a major focus on food, SVM showcases menus from every corner of the earth and celebrates the creativity of local vegan makers and shakers..
Many well known local vegan brands have launched at SVM, have built on their customer base month to month, using SVM is an innovative incubation space for new product testing, brand awareness and face-to-face customer engagement, and has created a hub for the local economy to thrive. WE LOVE THAT!
Fancy a burger, a bowl of Mac n cheese or a heavenly Acai bowl? Need some more of your favourite oil cleanser, that body scrub or the new lip colour you’ve been dying to try? Or have you been eyeing off those gorgeous ceramics, yoga pants or candles? We have you sorted!
The entertainment coming from our solar powered main stage sets the vibe for the day, where local artists and musicians get to show us their talents & we get to dance it off on the grass! We have incredible acoustic performers, soul singers & resident DJs who bring the beats and really make your ears happy.
The Vegan NSW vision is simple; to inspire new vegans, and support the vegan movement, and we are confident that Sydney Vegan Market is doing just that!

There is a shift in awareness happening right now, can you feel it? Words like "compassionate", "ethical" and "conscious" are everywhere, we are becoming aware of how and what we are consuming and it's an exciting time.
This market is for those who want to make and see a difference in vegansim in Sydney, create products that are vegan, wish to connect with like-minded people and are excited, passionate or just plain curious about experiencing a different way of eating and living.
